The Fest X-yes, it’s been ten years

The FEST 10 ( announces schedule, more weekend passes for sale, and another free downloadable FEST 10 digital comp.

THE FEST 10 recently announced the weekend schedule for the big 10 year anniversary of their annual multiple day, multiple venue party down in Gainesville, Florida.

You can read below for a complete list of bands performing including Hot Water Music, Against Me!, Less Than Jake, Bouncing Souls, Lifetime, Dillinger Four, Samiam, Youth Brigade and many many more.

The festival will take place Oct. 28, 29, and 30 of 2011. Weekend passes quickly SOLD OUT but FEST organizers announced today that on Thursday 9/15 they will release 300 more weekend passes for sale. 150 will be sold online while 150 will be sold in two local shops. Weekend passes will be $75 each.

FEST 10 also launched a Bandcamp page ( where anyone can grab two free downloadable comps featuring some of the artists performing. Today they launched the second version of the planned six compilation series. Other versions will be released over the weeks leading up to the festival. You can go here to download.

FEST organizers have been working with bands and local venues to help organize two PRE-FEST shows to happen on Thursday Oct 27th.
The show at Double Down Live will feature Off With Their Heads, Dead to Me, Cobra Skulls, Nothington, Banner Pilot, and Spanish Gamble.

The show at 1982 will feature Worn in Red, Bridge & Tunnel, O’ Pionerrs, Shores, Caves, Pure Graft, Landmines, and Fellow Project.
