The Conch Launches Today

The Conch is a monthly storytelling project presented by Grow Radio and hosted at Lightnin’ Salvage (at Satchel’s Pizza) on the second Tuesday of the month. Each Conch night will have a different theme and you are invited to tell a five-minute, true story without notes based on the theme for the night. The theme for July 10 will be “There’s a First Time for Everything.” Tell your friends, tell your story, or just come and hear great true stories told live. Grow Radio will record the stories and broadcast the best ones later in the month.
If you want to tell a story show up and put your name in the hat. We will draw names and if there’s time will allow everyone who wants to tell a story to do so. There will possibly be adult and/or challenging content in these stories, but this is not a platform for political rants, hateful speech or obscenity. Come develop your craft for storytelling and enjoy the stories from our community.
